Cassie’s adventure with Variety began while she was still in college, working evenings and weekends as a paid intern. Her early days with the company were spent with Variety’s founder George Moffett making calls, answering phones, running errands, and jumping into wherever was needed. Little did she know at the time she could be creating a career with the company and would become an integral part of the team.
As she neared graduation, what started as a simple request for feedback on her resume from Todd Boltin, turned into his suggestion that she should submit her resume to Variety. The original class project turned into an unexpected career opportunity when Variety created a full-time position for her. Not long after Cassie came on board full time she moved into the accounting department.
Today she serves as the Office Manager of the company as well as Secretary/Treasurer of the corporation.
Growing up in 4H and the farming community, Cassie met her husband, Matt, in the steer barn at the Muskingum County Fair as a teenager. Today they enjoy life together with their two children Karson and Hanna and raise beef cattle, corn, soybeans, and hay on their family farm. They partnered with Cassie’s family to help run the family’s golf course, a local business that was started by her grandfather in 1972.
