In 1973, Bill began booking entertainment for Variety Attractions, as well as managing shows for Nationwide Demolition Derby. Early on in his career, he built lasting relationships with fairs that many today are still clients. He has been a driving force in structuring fair dates for many of the top rock, pop, and country artists through the years. Bill has logged well over 2,000,000 miles and is currently adding to his count as he continues to work with fairs and festivals
Bill has been a longtime member of Academy of Country Music, Country Music Association, and International Entertainment Buyers Association. In 2006, Bill was nominated and won the coveted ACM – Don Romeo Talent Buyer of the Year award. In 2018, Bill was a nominee for the IEBA Fair Buyer of the Year.
Bill currently resides in Zanesville, Ohio with his wife Barb whom he married in 1968. He and Barb have 2 beautiful daughters, Amy and Abby and are the proud grandparents of Emily, Megan, Brandon, Levi, and Kiley. When Bill isn’t racking up more miles on the road for Variety he enjoys classic cars, listening to music, reading, watching movies, playing billiards, and spending as much time as possible with his family.
